Established in March 2025, professional baseball pitcher Austin Kitchen brings his private coffee roasts to all coffee lovers, in launching The K Collection, presented by The Kings Craft Coffee Co. A coffee roast aficionado, Kitchen has made it a job requirement to seek out the perfect beans, ingredients, and balanced caffeine formula, to perform at the highest levels as a professional athlete.

Flavor Profile, Characteristics, Estate Facts
Nicaragua Sunrise Batch can be characterized by a heavy body and a sweetness that tends toward the savory side of chocolate, almonds, nougat and toffee.

Grown on the slopes of Cerro Chimborazo outside Jinotega, known as the city in the mist. The estate has been in the Angelina Lopez family for over a century and to this day grandparents, children and grandchildren continue to manage the estate together. The coffee is wet and dry milled on the estates premises in order to better manage quality control. The growing altitude is between 1,300 and 1,700 meters and the varietals include, Borboun, Caturra, Catuai and Pacamara. Because they are essentially growing coffee in a cloud forest and there is always moisture in the air, coffee is carefully dried inside greenhouses.

Operating within the Cerro Datanli Natural Reserve, Los Papales maintains the highest standards of sustainability and is certified by Rainforest Alliance. The Rainforest Alliance certification program is designed to protect forests, biodiversity, and waterways, while also improving the livelihoods of farmers and workers - you can feel confident you are supporting not only the highest quality beans but a better world.

Fun Fact
Austin Kitchen was a member of the Coastal Carolina University Chanticleers 2016 College World Series Championship Team.  That season, Kitchen was named a Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American.  Chants Up!  In 2023 Cory Withrow, along with his wife Monica, flew to the Carolinas to embark on a biking expedition. Road biking for four consecutive days, they cruised through South Carolina, culminating with a 94 mile final day bike into North Carolina, all powered by The King’s Craft Coffee.
